Bruce Jackson
Bruce Jackson is the Business Development Manager for the Life Sciences with enterpriseSeattle formerly known as the King County Economic Development Council.
As a member of enterpriseSeattle’s team Bruce provides case management consulting to biotechnology and medical device companies. Case management includes business plan and power point review coaching, fundraising strategy development consulting, events planning, round-table and network event planning as well as site selection services for companies moving into King County. enterpriseSeattle’s mission is to provide services that encourage business expansion, retention and recruitment.
Prior to joining enterpriseSeattle Bruce was a General Partner at Pacific Horizon Ventures. While at Pacific Horizon Ventures Bruce was primarily responsible for developing relationships with university technology transfer offices throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada. In addition, Bruce played a significant role in fundraising, deal flow and due diligence activities as well as portfolio development.
In addition to his duties at enterpriseSeattle Bruce serves on the Washington State University Research Foundation Board, and as a reviewer for Life Science Discovery Fund Grants. Bruce’s involvement with the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association includes a stint as first chair of InvestNorthwest in 2001.
Bruce holds a B.S. degree from the College of Education at Washington State University and an M.A. from the Leadership Institute of Seattle/City University.
