Ralph Cavalieri
Dr. Cavalieri currently is Associate Dean of the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences, Director of the Agricultural Research Center, and Professor of Biological Systems Engineering at Washington State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Postharvest Biology and Technology. He is a member of the Department of Energy’s Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors of the Washington State University Research Foundation and the Board of the Washington Technology Center.
Dr. Cavalieri’s primary area of specialization is food and postharvest process engineering with particular emphasis on process kinetics, biosensors, instrumentation, and controls. He has published more than 100 refereed and proceedings articles. Dr. Cavalieri is a Member of American Society of Agricultural Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Institute of Food Technologists. Dr. Cavalieri received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University in 1985.
