Load N Reload

Summary

"Load N Reload" is a two component drink system formulated with healthy and nutritious ingredients, designed to serve the special requirements of demaning physical activity for athletes before and after workouts.

"Load" utilizes fructose and sucrose to produce a combined effect of moderate carbohydrate digestion and sustained blood sugar levels, resulting in prolonged energy. These carbohydrates provide a concentration for optimal rehydration. Formulated with Guarana extract load provides a natural source of caffeine to stimulate the central nervous system and delay exhaustion. Finally, "Load" is an excellent source of 6 B vitamins, which aid metabolism.

"Reload" Utilizes an optimal protein/carbohydrate ration to provide optimal glycogen resynthesis. Carbohydrate intake directly following exercise is also crucial to glycogen synthesis. Sucrose maltodextrin, and fructose were prevent glucose receptor saturation and permit quick nutrient absorption. Overall, "Reload" is formulated to produce a high glycemic effect, which is important for rapid glycogen replenishment. A combined salt concentration is utilized for optimum osmolality to minimize the potential for cramping or dehydration. "Reload" base of fermented whey, is an economical source of protein, minerals, and has advantages over other protein sources. Whey is naturally high in potassium and is the most digestible of the major food proteins. Whey has a Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score of 1.15, and supplies all essential amino acids. Whey is also high in branched chain amino acids, which are more readily absorbed by the body, and are available for muscle repair and building. "Reload" is high in protein, potassium, phosphorus, and calcium. Because the whey is fermented to pH 4.4, consumption by lactose intolerant individuals is possible.
