Naturaleza’s Delights
Summary
Naturaleza’s Delights are gourmet, healthy ice cream treats developed for the niche market of consumers who demand all-natural food. The concept was based on the idea of an ice cream sundae with a twist. Naturaleza’s Delights consist of the addition of viable probiotic bacteria in a convenient, single-serve, all-natural, delicious lowfat ice cream that is packaged along with unique sundae toppings.
Two flavors Naturaleza’s Delights have been developed, but many flavors have been considered. Each sundae flavor consists of a delicious lowfat ice cream accompanied by novel toppings. Chai Tea ice cream is complimented by chocolate cookie pieces, spicy crystallized ginger, and crunchy puffs, which lend a nutty flavor. Crunchy sugar cone pieces, creamy white chocolate chips, and tangy raspberry pieces pair delightfully with Gourmet Rose ice cream. The unique package of Naturaleza’s Delights keeps the toppings separate from the ice cream, to maintain the integrity of each, and comes complete with a spoon. Customers have the option to eat the toppings with the ice cream one spoonful at a time, separate from the ice cream, or mixed in with the ice cream.
