If you are a WSU inventor and you would like to submit an invention disclosure to our office, please download the WSU Invention Disclosure form provided here.
Please fill out the form completely and return it to the Office of Intellectual Property Administration. OIPA will assess each disclosure for patentability and potential for commercial success. We will need this information, including sponsorship details and signatures, in order to review your invention and begin the patent process.
According to the WSU faculty manual, employees are required to disclose patentable inventions and discoveries to OIPA for review.
